Dr. Moleno's Journey
A native Floridian, Dr. Moleno began his medical journey with undergraduate studies in Biochemistry at the University of Florida, where he developed a deep understanding of the scientific foundations that would later inform his approach to hair restoration surgery.
He then pursued his medical education at LECOM Bradenton, where he excelled in his studies and developed a passion for procedures that could dramatically improve patients' quality of life and self-confidence.
Following medical school, Dr. Moleno completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern/Parkland hospital system. This intensive training in critical decision-making and precision under pressure would prove invaluable in his surgical career.
Recognizing his calling in hair restoration, Dr. Moleno pursued an ISHRS-approved 1-year fellowship, widely considered the gold standard for training Hair Restoration Surgeons. This comprehensive program focused on medical hair loss management and advanced hair restoration techniques including FUE, FUT, beard, and eyebrow transplantation.
During his fellowship training, Dr. Moleno gained extensive experience with diverse patient demographics and hair types, including female pattern hair loss and African American hair restoration. This exposure to various challenges and techniques has made him uniquely qualified to address the specific needs of each patient.
